Where we work
Based at 311 Grant St in Linden. Most of our jobs are within about 30 minutes of the shop, but we regularly travel across North and Central Jersey for the right project.
Union County
Home base. Linden, Elizabeth, Roselle, Roselle Park, Union, Hillside, Cranford, Clark, Rahway, Kenilworth, Springfield, Westfield, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside, Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights. A lot of the housing here is 1920s to 1960s with original red oak strip flooring under carpet, which is exactly the kind of floor that refinishes beautifully.
Essex County
Newark, East Orange, West Orange, Orange, South Orange, Maplewood, Irvington, Bloomfield, Montclair, Nutley and Livingston. Older two-family homes and colonials with narrow-plank oak and pine, plus plenty of newer renovations that need matching.
Middlesex County
Woodbridge, Colonia, Iselin, Avenel, Carteret, Perth Amboy, Edison, Metuchen, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, East Brunswick, Piscataway and Sayreville. Split-levels and ranches from the 1950s–70s, often with oak that's never been refinished.
Hudson, Bergen, Passaic and beyond
Jersey City, Bayonne, Hoboken, Kearny, Paramus, Hackensack, Paterson and Clifton. We also take jobs in Monmouth County (Red Bank, Middletown) and Mercer County (Trenton, Princeton area) when the schedule allows.
